The Department of Water Supply (DWS), County of Hawai‘i, congratulates all Big Island schoolchildren who entered the Department’s 2022 Keiki Water Conservation Poster Contest! Nearly 400 K-5 students from 15 public, private, and charter schools, along with several homeschoolers, demonstrated their knowledge of water conservation and artistic skills through their poster entries. This year’s contest theme was “Be a Superhero – Waste Zero.” Mahalo to the students’ teachers and parents for promoting water conservation. Please see the entries below and remember to do your part to protect and preserve our most precious resource – safe drinking water!
